If it tries to start from the beginning, skip forward to 54:04.

Must've been a helluva live show, from the audience reaction.

Nothing right this second, but in a few days I hope to be listening to a new to me 44 year old recently serviced and recapped Marantz 2230B that I just bought off eBay.

I miss audio hardware like that.  Flicking needles bathed in the yellowish glow of a tiny incandescent light and everything.  I wonder if that big ol' Wollensak reel to reel is still up in Mom's attic somewhere...

Seriously one of both the most badass and most cutest videos around... Floor was a huge fan of Henk Poort since the time she was a little child, and her expressions are so good, as are the hosts. And holy fucking shit, the vocal control he has... Pavarotti is probably maybe favorite vocalist of all time (of that style anyways), and the way you can hear the note make it's way from his diaphragm to your ear without a single flaw is as good as anything he sung.

Hard to believe such a voice is coming from this young guy. I was expecting the singer to be an old man.

Love this show. Artist have an episode in which other performers cover one of their songs, sometimes in entirely new ways. And then the artist in the spotlight performs a cover of a song they admire.
