Thank God All Mighty, Free At Last!

My wife and I are finally separating, and I'm moving to California. Her religion, Catholic, and me an atheist, just didn't work in the long hall. We never fought or got physical, but that was the problem. She seems to be happier now knowing I'm leaving. We are not getting a divorce unless I find someone else, which isn't going to happen. We have always got along because she is easy going, but that is the problem, no passion or intimacy. We haven't slept together for 30 years, having our own bedrooms. She is a very good person, but her early training (brain washing by the Church) and her family have made her too good, like a frigid Saint. And me and my evil ways just turned her off after awhile.  Solitary

I understand completely. I have seen very similar circumstances in other marriages. If this is what you want, by all means make the best of it. You have one life, live it the best way you can.

Well, I hope things turn out good for you now dude. My advise would be just to do your own thing for a few years, relax and enjoy your free time. and if you look to meet new people, do that then.
Though, I would say, maybe divorce might be something to consider in that time to, just to avoid any legal shit that might occur. Better to wipe the slate clean.

That is the very reason we are not getting a divorce, to avoid lawyers like the plague. We went through three years of hell by our own insurance companies lawyer, who I hated more than the guy that sued me, and was finally thrown out of court. Even when I have won other court cases, one which involved a teenager raping a ten year old girl that attacked me and I knocked him out with a left jab and got arrested for it, it was hell to go through. He finally was found guilty of aggravated kid knapping and sent to prison for 14 years. I wanted to knock his lawyer out and pay the fine just to get it over with. This has followed me every time I looked for a new job and they asked me if I go around hitting children with my fist. This child was a 6' 2'' nut case. Solitary
