Bashing the opposition!

I got a semi rant. I may have to move back to my hick er home state of oklahoma, due to its low cost of living (no doubt caused because nobody wants to live there)

so today I'm reading an article that the oklahoma government may be about to create an independent militia, ready to fight off Obama's secret Commie army. now this wasn't from a mainstream news site, so I'm not sure its valid yet but as batshit as oklahoma is, I wouldn't put it past them.

I've heard about this. Texas has a state militia that isn't associated with anything legal or official. It is headed by "commander" Rick Perry. Basically it's a bunch of tea party mongrels that wear cammo, tote weapons, sit around suvs, get drunk, and talk about how they're going to kill Obama and them commie libs. This kind of thing is loosely organized in many states. Utah, Alaska, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Arizona, Arkansas, and yes Oklahoma as well.

It's alarming to say the least. These people say that they are protecting and following the Constitution, but they haven't a clue about the Constitution. Constitutionally the Texas Rangers are illegal. These paramilitary groups are violent, ignorant, uneducated, armed to the hilt, and extreme. they are basically a collection of hate crimes waiting to happen.

Ok, how are the TX Rangers unconstitutional?  They're just an elite investigative branch of the DPS.  Basically state troopers with different badges.  Unless you're talking about the baseball team in which case being a couple strikes away from a world series title two years in a row and blowing it should be against some law.

If it were only a law enforcement department it would be legal but it is a self described paramilitary force.
