I know there are people here that got upset with me because of what the Pope said that I didn't think he was being honest and just blowing smoke, well here is another thing I pick and choose to show he is being disingenuous in his liberal views and just trying to get more supporters and members for the conservative Church:

The Catholic Church is completely dependent on the opinion of others. They will be as moderate as they can to appease religious moderates while still being fundie enough to keep their devoted witch-burning fan base. Nothing they say can be honestly, completely trusted, as they are an organization that is completely dependent on public opinion.

Yeah...the anti-abortion crowd is probably all jumping from Pastor X to Pope X now.

Does this surprise anyone? Pope Been-a-dick said that he didn't want a Vatican III and would prevent this from happening because his piece of shit Vatican II work wasn't even fully implemented. Any Pope that would be his predecessor would have the same views of not calling a Vatican III counsel to be sure to preserve the church in a mid-evil era of thinking. Welcome to hierarchy, as it this pope has only blew smoke out of his ass to gain likability. Now when the real side of his   misleading ways surface it shouldn't shock a dried turd in the sun.
