As an adult, he would be expected to pay a full tithe. If he was a successful businessman or well off, he could certainly be moved up the ladder quickly. It is no accident that all of the leadership of the church are millionaires, lawyers, doctors and businessmen.

As I recall (it's been a while), I believe the words "fast track" were used in something I saw written about his title.  He had made very good money in his life, but still lived cheaply.  He was in charge of some civilian thing for the Air Force.  One of his close cousins, also a Mormon, was without question the wealthiest person I've ever met, with mansions around the world, a fleet of jets, including two personal 757s.  Maybe that helped.

Actually, first Id like to thank all of your warm welcome to the forum.As I was somewhat surprised because I belong to a running forum,road bike forums x2 and others but in all those haven't even come close to the responses I have received here.Thanks again with true sincerity.
