Pretty mild for us. One of my pool enclosure supports came loose but it was a small one in the corner. I had strapped the enclosure crossways anyway as a added preventative. Power is out but back feeding with the generator so we are good. No internet other than my hot-spot. So hey, jump in the pool, have a couple cold ones, take a nap,,,lounge around. Gotta love a salary job too.

The power came back on at Jon's yesterday afternoon.

Hell, I'm fearless.. I'm not worried about a few gayz stiring up a little wind and rain, but you really need to stop washing out the bridges around town here.. Te gayz are inconvenient!    I can't really think of a hell of a lot of reasons for wanting to move to Atlanta, not even that great baseball team..oh wait..they finished in last place just like my favorite team,  THE REDS! ....IT'S THE GAYS FAULT!
I'll have you know that our sports teams are experts at losing!

Grey and rainy, like every other day this week.  But I'll take it compared to seriously destructive storming other places got.  I feel bad for the Bahamas, it's probably going to get hit twice by the same hurricane.

Last week we stayed at a resort in Myrtle Beach attached to Springmaid Pier, which has just been destroyed by the hurricane. This is a photo I took from the end of the pier.

What is left.

We lost power for about 6 hours..that was pretty much it.. a few trees we knocked down in the neighborhood. I'm pretty sure Columbia got a bit of localized flooding, but I really haven't checked up on the local news just yet.

It appears that the pier was the least of the problems in Mertyle Beach.. Check out the fire in Cherry Grove..

I wish you the best recovery from the hurricane...

My local dog park had to close because a river flooded its banks and some schools closed down for a week, but other than that, not so bad.  At least in my general vicinity.

The weather has been amazingly good since Matthew.  It was cloudy and rainy for days and days before Matthew.  Now it's sunny and pleasant and it actually feels like Fall now.

Cavebear

Hoping you have continued good weather.
