Stars aren't bright white dots of the same intensity scattered all about the universe, they hold different intensities and luminosity. When the light of a star is hitting a planet on the horizon, the dark side of the planet isn't going to be a green with a middle vaule. The dark side of the planet is going to be very dark, moving from the surface glare to a very dark green black with few distinctions very quickly. The moon behind the planet is going to be barely visible at most, or completely non existent in the shadow. |
