I find that astrology can be a very fun read. In some papers it is really writing twelve different horoscopes which actually are the same thing using language just ambiguous enough that the reader prior or after yours recognizes it is different and abandons the read. Since most people only read their own, they are completely oblivious to the fact-idea, that they all same the same thing most the time, just written rather brilliantly to sound completely different.

I think I found Chinese Astrology more fun than the Egyptian-Babylonian one for several reason. (Its bullshit seems less ass kissing than the other one.)

It is probably because it turns out that my Chinese horoscope is a Fire Dragon. It is a fantastical, magnificent beast. What's not to like. I always loved dragons. I always liked that Chinese culture does not see the dragon as an evil creature and enemy to slay as it is in the Western one. And for all pretenses and the supernatural bullshit its profile -unfortunately being very negative over all- fits me better than "You understand to communicate very smoothly and with diplomatic skill, dear calm virgin". It has myths; fairy tale based 'philosophy' behind it. It's exotic. Besides it looks more complicated and exclusive than the other bullshit.

I mean look at her. She's also preeeettttttty.

I've always been a bit jealous of those who are the Chinese dragon.  My Chinese animal is the Cock.  Ummm..................I guess that can be taken in several ways.   At least it's not the pig or the rat.  My Native American power animal is the Raven, which is better.  Ravens are very interesting birds.

The Pig and the rat are pretty good horoscopes according to my readings. Cock sounds good too to me. Rooster is the marketed term. THough we mostly like the former calling...:P

Now, I am jelaous of the Raven. I need to look up my Mesoamerican horoscope.

I guess "Rooster" is the most PC.  But at the two Chinese restaurants we eat at the most, both have placemats that have the animal listed as "Cock".  But I do prefer rooster.

Oh apparently my father and my youngest uncle are roosters. :) It's a beautiful animal. It's also a fighter.

A crow like a Raven?  That would be an unkindness to the Ravens--would it not?  And the crows may become murderous.

You can say that "people with higher IQs don't require a large social circle" as intelligence as little bearing on your personality. You can be very smart and have lots of friends, or you can be very smart and have very few friends. "Higher IQ's" and "large social circle" are not exclusive.

Well, actually, I was referring to what ravens are called when they are in a group--an unkindness.  And a group of crows are a murder.
