Interesting to see such a "weird" nation as Japan be much more level headed than many... but I won't complain.

The Japanese have a good police force, understand the difference between being polite and being PC, hand thoroughly vett all visitor visas.

Japanese have different customs than we do and can be much stricter then we can. They probably wont tolerate muslims that come there to try and change things to their way of life. The Japanese can be just as intolerant as we can. Just ask any one who's gone there to live there! If you are visiting they love you, staying and it's a whole other story.

Staying a long time in Japan, or trying to immigrate is discouraged.  That would be a violation of Shinto ... and Japan in that religion is a holy land like Palestine.
