It’s a strange myth that atheists have nothing to live for. It’s the opposite. We have nothing to die for. We have everything to live for.

I cant help but find it interesting just how polarizing American society is. We seem to take "You are either one of us or against us" to the next level in the Western world... I feel in that regard we are much more akin to the tribal societies of Africa or the ethnic/sectarian parts of the Middle East than we are Europe. We take it far too seriously.

Worldwide White people have always been a minority ... ignore lines drawn on a map.  OMG!

In the 21st century, for the first time in 2000 years, the majority of Christians are non-White.  OMG!

None of this matters, if we avoid stupid us vs them distinctions like White vs Brown.  There are smarter us vs them distinctions like ... ISIS vs everybody else ... though this is a hard nut to crack, since it is unclear who is pulling the strings of ISIS.  ISIS is again, much like the Twilight Zone episode with the fake alien, created to get people to act in unison, from fear.

Absolutely and unfortunately spot on, Shir. IMO. (And as usual).

We no longer need to live inside a hunter/gatherer community base thanks to modernization, but the prevailing idealogical mindset remains us vs them, and I contend that that is no more blatant in our modern times than Christians vs the modern secular liberal.

Politics, blah!

Science and a natural evolved society vs an ancient holy book and a stuck fear base society. Who *should* win?

Baruch, I expect more from you. More in-depth smart person commentary, less the 3-word fix. Please explain.

It is white Christianity that USED TO make up 55% of all social commentary to include elected public officials for the last 60-80 years. This appears to be no more thanks to the gigantic scope of the HUGE religious Pew Research polling regarding religious affiliation. That giant poll now says that white Christians dwindle. Is this opinionated spewings?

Satire ... and the obvious figures are for the world, not the US.  The expansion of Christianity as a non-White faith, has been well noted over 10 years ago.  That is probably why the leading edge of Christian bigotry is in Africa, not the US.

They should look at the bright side, now that they're a minority they can be ethnic rather than racist.

But to be an ethnic victim, you have to cede power to another group ...

No, you just have to make people believe you're oppressed by the majority.  It doesn't necessarily have to be the case.
