Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce the Prager University (totally a legit university, but accredited by Jesus, not Big Government).  "Just as a shot of espresso boosts your energy, a shot of Prager University boosts your brain!"

The liberal-socialist god-hating left likes to claim that so-called "global warming" is caused by people and is harming the environment.  But if we apply a kindergartner's understanding of science and an almost religious faith in the coal/oil industry, we see that these claims don't hold water.  For example, carbon is classified as a pollutant.  A pollutant!  "How can something that makes life possible be bad?"  (I dunno, maybe we should ask the tsunami victims)

"fossil fuels are 100% organic (organic in the sense of organic chemistry - molecules containing carbon atoms) and were produced with solar energy (technically, the sun is ultimately responsible for basically everything on the planet).  Sounds positively green."  (Uhhh...no)

"carbon dioxide is not carbon"   :eyes:

And a upswing in carbon dioxide levels would benefits plants, which would help feed the planet (another thing that would probably help out plants: slowing deforestation and not having quite so many kids)

So you see, global warming is not only a sham, we should all work feverishly to pump as much CO2 as we possibly can into the atmosphere to help feed plants.  Together, we can save the world!

P.S. - I'm pretty sure there are other greenhouse gases besides CO2, but the video didn't mention them so they're probably not a problem.

More CO2 would benefit plants, which in turn would create more 02 and in the process reduce CO2. That would be fine... if we weren't constantly destroying the world's forests.

It's amazing how that Chanel  manages to top itself time and time again with it's ignorance.

Evolution is probably the slowest biological process on planet earth, the only one that comes close is the understanding of it by creationists.

Da fuq? I didn't watch the video. I feel like if I do, I'll vomit my salt and vinegar chips all over my keyboard.

Did they realize this idea only works if instead of razing forests, rainforests and other biomes to the ground like a fire sale we plant more? Yes, CO2 has a significant role in the cellular respiration of plants, but we're decimating our customers. That kind of logic is compatible with running a restaurant and killing your patrons to serve them up to other patrons and telling them human meat is healthier for them anyway because people are "natural."

In other real CO2 related news, some darling nerds from George Washington University are working on a way to harvest them from the atmosphere for use in carbon nano fibers. Very cool stuff.
How can you be sure my refusal to agree with your claim a symptom of my ignorance and not yours?

Solitary

I'm at a loss for words. I know it seems impossible, but I am.
There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

You should.  It's comedy gold.

Eh, I think it's more along the lines of "Environmentalists say polluting the rivers/ocean is bad because it causes algal blooms.  But algae is great, so algal blooms are great, therefore we should dump as much as we please!"

Are we sure he's not confusing carbon monoxide with carbon dioxide? The two are completely different. One is a poison and the other is what we exhale.

ugggh never mind. :(
