In Lebanon, almost everyone is divided between two political/religious factions known as March 08 and March 14: M8 includes most of the Shia and half of the Christians; and M14 includes most of the Sunnis and half of the Christians.  Some Lebanese are independent, but not many.  The last name of our new member here ends with "ian".  There is a really good chance he's Armenian. Statistically, he should be M8, but not necessarily so.

It is actually true that Armenians tend to be M8, I am one of the armenian minority who's independent and therefore not following any of the two parties
