Easy Rider soundtrack- one I listened to in the Navy.

I LOVED that movie. I was in the regular Army when it came out and I saw it several times. I could just feel my butt on one of those bikes!
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent,
Is he able but not willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able or willing?
Then why call him god?

Solitary

One of the very best movies ever made for the cost, and showing what the times were like then. Great sound tract too. Brings back great memories I had then that I forgot about. Thanks!

oh lordy, back in the late 70's I took a double of strawberry mescaline, but it turned out to be "angel dust", after three hours of terror on the road (too long to explain) I got home and put that album on with the headphones. Probably listened to it for 8-9 hours both in and out of consciousness. I have found, rather embarrassingly, that if I hear more that two songs in a row off that album, I get fucked up. Seriously, need to call someone to pick me up fucked up.

Other than that, I love the Moody Blues Seventh Sojurn
angel dust and meth are the to two worst drugs ever. I was really into drugs then and these two I wouldn't even think of doing after I tried them. Being unable to move and thinking you are going to be picked up by cosmic aliens in a flying saucer with spot lights shining on you is terrifying---even if it turns out to be a police helicopter, and begging God to let you sleep even if you don't believe in him is living hell.
There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

One of my favorite movies, with some great songs to boot.

Solitary

This is a band that sounds like Black Sabbath with Janus Joplin singing while not being drunk. He! He! I never heard of them. I like it, thanks!

What's your favorite music album?

Mine is Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. It has withstood the test of time. There are some albums I used to like, but no more. Dark Side of the Moon is still awesome.

I would have to split mine across genres

Favorite rap album is All 6's and 7's
Favorite Rock album is Antichrist Superstar

The good news is that Dark Side of the Moon is winning this thread... and soon... the world.

I disagree. Your new favorite album is Backstreet's Back.

Funny thing, I Googled "6's and 7's" and got "(6 (' s)) + (7 (' s)) =3.9624 m s"

Hard to decide on just one single album. Black Sabbath's Sabbath Bloddy Sabbath is one I find myself listening to at least as often as anything else. The whole track list with the exception of Fluff is classic. A National Acrobat is one of my all time favorites.

Save a life. Adopt a Greyhound.

I was considering rescinding my Dark Side nomination in favor of Ummagumma, actually. Very hard call to make.

Don't turn away from the Dark Side... you get lightening and force choking.
