A fascinating question that is answered with infinitesimals. It is assumed that infinitesimals can't add up to a finite sum, which they can.
Infinitesimals have driven the greatest minds to go insane thinking about them. If you have a hotel with an infinite number of rooms completely filled, you can still get a room. All you have to do is ask the proprietor to have everyone move up one room from number one, then you take room number one.    This is the very reason Christianity can't conceive of how man has evolved without a God that made the first man and woman, because it is assumed now it requires two living things and it had to be the same way in the past. Most paradoxes only exist because language has no meaning accept what we give it. Science uses the language of mathematics for that very reason, it is free of most paradoxes, but not all of them. Example: The least integer not namable in fewer than nineteen syllables' is itself a name consisting of eighteen syllables; hence the least integer not namable in fewer than nineteen syllables can be named in eighteen syllables, which is a contradiction.
