Heh, I just had a mental image of Peter Griffin walking towards a church while people goating him to go to church to pray and talk with god, and then Peter realizes he can just as well talk with god from home, no religion or church required.

Religion by definition is belief in a supernatural being. Supernatural means that it is not describable or quantifiable by us. Therefore any religion, being describable and quantifiable, would not be a religion and therefore not to be worshiped as such.
