The repetitive nature of this episode compared to like 1962 is kind of eerie. The resurgence of racism and all the controversy now about Ferguson and the recent killing of black youths is sad, but remember that went on back then and didn't get the press it does now. Progress? I hope in another ten years this will be supplanted by more intelligent viewpoints and greater understanding, but frankly I'm skeptical.
