Why did he send you this, is he deconverting?

Not really, but I have gotten him interested in science and logic. His wife died a horrible death due to lupus, and he had them pull the plug so to speak. He question why God would allow her to suffer all her life. He then found out he had prostate cancer which was cured after he prayed, then he got leukemia that was cured because he prayed, and also because of the modern science of medicine. He has to believe he will see his wife again because it hurts him so much that he allowed her to die, and afraid he will go to hell because he lost his faith at the time. It's complicated, like only religion can make everything. I really don't try to convert him because he has so much baggage he carries around that brings him comfort with his faith. He is very open minded and accepts me as a friend. He does not like organized religion, or radical Christians, but all his other friends are the same religion and go by what Christianity is suppose to be about---LOVE.
