The majority of people are religious in every field accept science, how can they be persecuted? Just because a few faithful are bigoted, prejudice, and have hateful beliefs given support by ancient Scriptures is not accepted by the legal system does not mean they are being persecuted, just that their dogma is wrong.

it all bottles down to how theists have made there beliefs to interwoven with their identity, that insulting those made up beliefs has become the same as insulting their physical assets.

But you would expect that tbh, for someone to believe that fairy tale deities are floating overhead in a sky palace and will accept them into their palace after they die for following there fictional stories, well for anyone to be this insane, you'd expect them to believe that their made up cosmic fairy god is part of there physical presence, so insulting that is insulting them, as just as much, anything that confronts those fictional stories and rules within, is against attacking their psyches

This is why god followers are just scary to be around. If someone put a loaf of bread on a chair and demanded people to bow to it and worship it as their lord, and then someone takes a slice of bread to make a sandwich, said loony would think it an affront to himself and want to kill people over it.

Religion makes people racist, this is how it works. They can seperate people easyly with their beliefs, if you choose to believe it means you are blind to  other ideas and religions.
In Turkey as you know people are muslims. And if you are not one of them, the people can judge you in every way you can't imagine. If you keep them closer to you, it could be more dangerous because they gonna kill you :)
Anf the Islam gives this order. If your husband is not a muslim you have rights for divorce and you have to divorce.
However they can tell us, this religion is for who wants freedom.
They made people fool and earn more money from them. Religion helps people to stole from others in every way. Their minds, money, feelings, humanity. So stay away these people because they can hurt you easily.

"Islamophobia is not rasicm". If only the Malays in Malaysia, my beloved country, can understand this ......

For those who don't know, according to the the Federal Constitution of Malaysia, all Malays are Muslims (refer here for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Malaysia#Article_160_.E2.80.93_Constitutional_definition_of_Malay) and they often see the two things as one. Besides, they're also given special rights in many aspect: accommodation, education, work opportunities, etc. So if you try to talk a little bit about their religion or their special rights and they happen to disagree with you (which happened most of the time), you're branded both an infidel and racist and be prepared to be taken into custody without a trial ...... some people don't have rights, while some ideas have rights ......
