Do you li... No!
Mixed fucking feelings at best is the way to describe it.

(removed irrelevant micro-rant. Can't remember why I even put it there in the first place)
No religion for me thank you very much; I 'm full of shit enough as it is.

Being flabbergasted about existence never made anyone disappear in a poof of flabbergas, so nevermind why we're here. We ARE here.

I used to really like a bunch of hymns (A Mighty Fortress and the like), especially Christmas ones. I don't know if it was the songs themselves or the experience of a bunch of random people with no practice all singing together--like the national anthem used to be before we tuned it into a spectator sport. Sometimes I still hum the tunes but--even before I realized I was an atheist--the lyrics are just nonsense to me and the more I focus on them the less I like the song.

There are some hymns I've always hated, Amazing Grace being top of that list
"Observe that noses were made to wear spectacles; and so we have spectacles. Legs were visibly instituted to be breeched, and we have breeches" Voltaires Candide

Twilightomens

I listened to Belle and Sebastion's "if you find yourself caught in love" only to find that the second line goes "send a prayer to the man above". But it's a really catchy song that I often find myself wanting to sing along to...after I listen to it I'll try to balance it out with "bukowski" by modest mouse.
Around this time I also start obsessing about "God rest he merry gentlemen" and "we three kings".

I am actually not sure if this is a religious song or not... The lyrics have some references to religious characters from the albums's story line... but not much more than that

I like Canon, and Amazing Grace, but that might be because of Memphis Belle
"Human history is a litany of blood shed over differing ideals of rulership and afterlife"<br /><br />Governor of the 32nd Province of the New Lunar Republic. Luna Nobis Custodit

This whole album... I can't tell if they are anti-religion, or not.

That is literally the shittiest thing I have seen all day. And I took a HUGE post-city-pizza-binge dump today.
