Yeah, I knew this. I served with people from South Carolina in the navy who were still putting rebel flags on the wall and using "nigger" in their speech. Also worked with a dude from Texas was the same.

I can't link it, but this very much reminds me of a Key and Peel Civil War Reenactment skit they just did, pointing out how much of the south is still reliving the glory of slave ownership over and over and over.
