Religion Vs Segregation In The 50's.

This is interesting because it shows a strong correlation between segregation- legally not allowing blacks to enter certain establishments, etc.- and religion. Also if you're a map/chart junkie.

However, it doesn't show the mountain west as segregated, even though the LDS church did not allow blacks to hold the priesthood.

The interesting thing is that you can use this same set of examples to correlate a list of other things- illiteracy, obesity, out of wedlock births, abortions and so on. Next time the South secedes, let them.
