One can almost hear the Republican response: "Yeah, well imagine what it would have been if Obama hadn't been the President."

Solitary

Right, the last Republican president did such a good job, bringing it down. It may go up again with the involvement of us in Iraq again fighting ISIS at $100,000+ a day cost. I think the United Nations, who should be the ones involved in World Peace, instead of us being the peace keepers, is a big failure. Taking sides is going to come back and bite us, I think. Solitary
There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

Remember when we were faced with the challenge of how to spend the latest surplus? Those were the days.

The GDP is slated to grow at 4.5% and unemployment rate to slimmer down to 5%, it will mean that soon deficits will turn into surplusses. Let's hope we won't do what Bush did in 2001, squandered those surplusses on tax cuts for the rich. Those surplusses should go for paying the incurring debt. Period.

With the debt about 100% GDP (haven't checked the latest figures) yes, a 3% GDP deficit is way too high.
White privilege is being a lifelong racist, then being sent to the White House twice because your running mate is a minority.

No Biden, no KKK, no Fascist USA!

No wonder the republicunts are so eager to recapture the white house. Can't allow that to happen. Why those 99%ers might start getting uppity and then where would their billionaire asshole buddies be?
The Christian church, in its attitude toward science, shows the mind of a more or less enlightened man of the Thirteenth Century. It no longer believes that the earth is flat, but it is still convinced that prayer can cure after medicine fails.

It's in the cards that in the Republican attempt to grab power, they will try everything to sabotage this growing economy. What's not helping the Democrats is that they don't know what to do when things are going their way.
