This was one of the suggestions at the end of that video, and I liked it, so here it is:

It's been posted in this thread several times now.  It's very ...unconventional to say the least.  I enjoyed the juxtaposition between the soft, peaceable, reverent chorus and the belligerent growling.  The nature of man and all that.

And by enjoyed it I mean that I played it like 10 times a day every day for months because I found it to be so damn good.

I showed it to my brother and he couldn't sit still for long enough to hear it all the way through.  He thought the early part was boring and got immediately turned off by the growling.  :/  That boy ain't right.

Zappa was the only performer I ever saw who could get studio-quality sound live.  Absolutely amazing.

Meanwhile, I've gone for the four-part jazz harmony tonight:

So, I have two types of music stuck in my head at the moment...

Exhibit A...

It's literally non-stop listening to one or the other the last two weeks... to say my brain is being torn apart from the conflicting styles is an understatement. And then to make it worse, when I get in my car I listen to Pavarotti.

Buckeye Lake 1988-06-25, the Dead's first time playing that venue.  It was unspeakably hot â€" Ohio was in the middle of a heat wave â€" but Buckeye rapidly became my favorite venue for the Dead (though it was a near thing up against Blossom Music Center).
