Jannabear

I apologize I didn't see your post.
Are you up for a debate on the topic of feminism?
(these are topics I want to discuss, not declarations, to clarify.)
My arguments against feminism:
It's an unnecessary group in any country without extreme legal injustices towards women.
Egalitarianism covers both genders, (I know some feminists fight for equality for both, but many don't), so why be a feminist in a country that doesn't need it.
Feminists have a tendency to say some really stupid shit.
Safe spaces
Jokes are bad
Sexualizing women is bad (sexualizing men and women are both ok in my opinion, as long as you aren't doing any creepy shit and whatever you do with them is consensual, or in the case of video games you can do whatever the fuck you want)
Women are supposedly the primary victims of rape (I know they're the majority, but feminists treat it like they're a vast majority, and tend to tone down what happens to male victims, eg: lesser sentences for female on male rape.)
Feminists who treat being transgender like a joke:
Eg:
500034503046029486093495860934609458609348609845609834560983405689 and 1 different pronouns for transgender people
and they treat sexuality like it's a joke 39084509324750972345097234095723049573094735 and 1 different sexualities other then gay straight bi lesbian and pansexual.

"It's an unnecessary group in any country without extreme legal injustices towards women."

I agree with the majority of your statements, but there are a couple of things that are promoted during feminism that I like. (A COUPLE... Not much more for now)

Before I begin, I would like to say that surrendering (or just getting bored) is alright, feel free to call it quits whenever you like. (But actually do it so I know when to stop). Heck, I might surrender myself if I feel the need. Like I said in the other post, I don't have many arguments because I've forgotten them all.

Let's start right here with this:

Inequality between men and women hurt men.

Men experience this for obvious reasons, going for more experience, for more hours, for more raises, etc.

However, this only shows that men primarily want to reach the end goal of getting money (Humanitarian jobs that have low pay are exceptions).

According to a study, when money is given to an ideal amount (75k), happiness levels off. This means that it is much more difficult to gain happiness once you reach this level.

If happiness from money has diminishing returns, then this means as a person pursues more money, they will receive less happiness than going for other things, such as a family or friends. (Many people say family and friends create more happiness than money. Many people eschew money because of this)

Therefore, if men are not encouraged to go for such things by having laws in place, they will be happier.

(Bullshit? Well, what do you think?)

It's simple really, probably not enough to change the world, but it's one of the tiny reasons that feminism isn't corrupt...

Though, we both know it is, and it's just fun to play devil's advocate sometimes. ;P

A dark cloud looms over.
Festive cheer does not help much.
What is this, "Justice?"

Men going for the jobs is more of a cultural thing, and a religious thing, I agree that men shouldn't be forced into work neither should women, both should live the life they want, but this is more of a social issue then a legal issue, it has it's roots in christianity at this point, a religion that teaches people to view women as less then men.
And what laws are you referring to?

dtq123

Why the proposals from feminists of course!

And this is why you need more messages for women to go into construction and the army.

If it's a social thing, the government should help out. Use ad campaigns to convince more women in fields "traditionally" meant for men.

Even if it's a religious thing, it's also a social thing. And that is one of the things feminism is DESPERATELY trying to do (And failing so hard we should face-palm ourselves)

It nearly explains everything!

They want to censor stuff so women don't have the stimuli of jobs that don't fit the ideal.

Sexualizing is a no-no because we all know how many women are in porn. ;P

It even feeds into anti-transism! We don't know what the fuck trans are!

Apparently have a rose out of concrete. Now let's see if we have any thorns.
A dark cloud looms over.

-Agreed
And this is why you need more messages for women to go into construction and the army.
-Women just aren't as likely to prefer those jobs, though there are some social reasons why, many of it is just the statistics of what women typically like and what men like, and it is heavily skewed due to america's culture, but I don't think the solution is trying to force women into it, it should happen naturally.
And our military is fucking cancer.

If it's a social thing, the government should help out. Use ad campaigns to convince more women in fields "traditionally" meant for men.
-That wouldn't do shit, women in this culture will still prefer different things then men, though it should change, this isn't the way to change it.

Even if it's a religious thing, it's also a social thing. And that is one of the things feminism is DESPERATELY trying to do (And failing so hard we should face-palm ourselves)
-Feminists bitch about games being sexist, about racist halloween costumes, and other stupid shit, feminism in it's current state isn't even fighting for equality, the average feminist just declares anything that makes them feel uncomfortable to be bad.

It nearly explains everything!
-Not really.

They want to censor stuff so women don't have the stimuli of jobs that don't fit the ideal.
-stimuli? what are you even talking about?
Sexualizing is a no-no because we all know how many women are in porn. ;P
-what do you mean?
It even feeds into anti-transism! We don't know what the fuck trans are!
-What?
Apparently have a rose out of concrete. Now let's see if we have any thorns.
-I don't understand half the points you tried to make, try to clarify what you meant, please.

^What happens when I try to quote you ._.

Let's go one point at a time.

1. Where is the proof that women prefer different things than men

1.5 Also "fucking cancer" Just made my day :D

2. Why are ad campaigns bad. The government used it to promote more female workers during WW2, so why not now?

3. "Feminists bitch about games being sexist," I agree, which is why I said the following:
"They want to censor stuff so women don't have the stimuli of jobs that don't fit the ideal."

What I meant is, "We feminists don't want to expose you to "Girly Jobs" because there should be no difference between girls and boys~"

Those girly jobs being:
A sexy prostitute.
A sexy nurse.
A sexy housewife.
A sexy executive (this one is a bit odd cause it's a high paying job, but let it slide X3)

(I purposely added sexy to this just to have fun, it's not really that relevant)

4. Because Trans people don't fit into the "Natural" binary (because they identify with the other side) a good portion of feminists don't like them. They don't know if they should be considered a girl or not. And that's where discrimination comes in.

This to me has stopped being a debate, but it is fun, what about you?
