The Skeletal Atheist

What's this? Another thread where if we debunk the points presented with evidence or point out the lack of evidences we'll be told that we're not true skeptics? Huzzah!

Can we have a poll?

Did you watch the video?
1: No
2: Yes

Then we don't watch it. We're also busy people who don't care about spending half an hour watching something that is most likely nonsense.

No, that's not how it works. YOU came here posting some theories and videos, YOU must be ready to tell us what is in those videos. Simple as that. Put up or shut up.

If I have to choose between watching a long-ass video about stuff I've already heard and deemed to be bullshit, versus watching an equal-length Let's Play that will at least make me laugh, I'm gonna go with the Let's Play.
Speak when you have something to say, not when you have to say something.

The Jesuits take vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.  They're known for establishing some pretty good universities like Georgetown, teach tolerance of other religions, and emphasize liberation theology (liberating the oppressed).  They have been criticized for pushing socialism and believe that education should be free.  The new pope is a Jesuit.

Yep, Illuminati.

So the guy sitting on the (literal) golden throne of one the most powerful and rich organisations in the world took a vow of poverty?

At least I understand why OP doesn't trust the jesuits, then. :)

I went to a Catholic Church once.  I was totally lost, a real fish out of water, not because I disagreed.  I actually believed in God at the time.  I just had no idea what was going on.  People were standing then sitting, then kneeling, then standing.  I was like the guy in the comic video that followed some hot chick into her aerobics class and couldn't keep up with the dance steps.  In fact, the reason I was there was because a hot chick dragged me to it.

Not sure what this has to do with the illuminati, although it might tangentially relate to Jesuits, or not.

My mommy told me to avoid guys wearing beanies and colorful robes.

A friend of mine was a Mason.  He invited me to join the organization one time.  He even showed me their new hall or temple I guess you call it.  I felt like I was being given a special privilege, although he was also showing me the place to see if I might be interested in finishing the drywall.  It was a former large grocery store, but they bricked in all the windows so people couldn't see inside and watch them doing their secret stuff.  As I recall, there was a large throne like chair near the middle of the huge room.  I suppose it was where the grand poobah sat during special ceremonies.

My grandfather was a Mason.  When I was a little kid, he told me their special greeting.  It was something like "Hi, Hirum".  I asked what that meant, and he smiled and said he couldn't tell me.  I wasn't that interested, anyway, so I can't say I ever felt deprived over it.  It's odd that I remember it.

I'm told that Catholics can't be Masons, but if I recall correctly, it's because the Church won't let them be, not because the Masons don't want them.  You do have to believe in a higher power to be a Mason, although a tree or a forest will suffice, I was told.

How does anyone know they want to be a Mason?  The organization is "secret" so you could never know what you were getting into.  It seems like an organization for people who just want to join something; It doesn't really matter what it is.

The first video's source is from "The Great Controversy" by Ellen G. White, one of the founding members of the 7th Day Adventist religion. I know this because when I was studying Mormonism back in the day, a coworker who was 7th Day Adventist gave me the book to read.

The source material for the second video is not identified to any group I can name, but it is of the same nature. Either you are a 7th Day Adventist or you found this religious gobbledygook and are pushing it on an atheist forum.

It is religion based bullshit, period.

For marketing purposes only. I'm sure he takes no pleasure in it.

Nothing to see here. the person that posted this is either a 7th Day Adventist or a conspiracy wingnut.
