Senate investigates recruitment fruad in the ranks

This story caught my eye because when I joined the USMC I was suppose to be guaranteed  training as a air traffic controller. After my firing range scores I was sent to scout/sniper school and a 22+ year career began. My recruiter assured me that my contract was solid and could not be voided, but I later found out that I wasn't guaranteed anything except that I would become a Marine....if I made it through basic training.

This is a chronic problem and it cost the tax payers millions every year. It's exploitation and fraud.
