Ohio supreme court actually doing the right thing

The Ohio supreme court is reminding judges that there are limits to jailing people for not paying fines. They usually just toss people in the clink regardless of ability to actually pay the fine denying defendants a hearing to determine ability to pay.
Sounds eerily familiar. It seems I've been tossed in the slammer more than a few times without a hearing although I once challenged a judge in court over being denied council and won. The public defenders office took on my case and that judge "retired" after getting his peepee whacked by the bar association over it.  :)
