There is a lot of talk from people that deny science in the religious community, but whenever it really matters, there is no substitute. There are no Christian designs for cell phones, MRI's, televisions, drugs that cure diseases, automobiles, unless you count the Pope Mobile. There are no satellites based on the Bible, or alternatives to quantum theory. Even those great public sceptics about the value of science in the Tea Party never fly in a plane burning homeopathically diluted aviation fuel. Do they make their schedules by reading tea leaves, and use a crystal ball to navigate in their cars?  And how are their prayers any different when they get sick and go to medical science to get cured?  :roll:  Solitary

The believers don't deny science, only those parts that contradict their cherish beliefs -- why we call it cherry-picking.  :P
