I can't believe how many logical fallacies there are in this video. I liked the poisoning of the well with saying "National Pornographic" instead of National Geographic. Video seems really weird, what's with all the photoshopped faces, superimposed batshit religious stuff, and weird cuts designed to make it look like the pro-science camp is totally off their rocker  (for example, skipping the answer to the "why are there still monkeys" question and jumping straight to "it" (evolution?  creationism?) is a faith position and shouldn't be taught in schools?   :-s  This video looks like Negative Zone Thunderfoot made it.  I feel dirty just giving this guy pageviews.

And Deepak Choprah is more than a little wrong on this one.  The planet is not 3.8 billion years old.  More like 4.54 billion.  That's not so bad compared to his claim that consciousness is not an emergent property.  Saying "mind then body" is getting it backwards.

That's where I agreed with him (uncomfortable).  He's got one oar out of the water too. I think it is so wrong to go over a video that shows how stupid Creationism is by superimposing and editing the video to make scientist look stupid, and also using Slick maneuvers to win an argument. I do not think you are correct. Wikipedia says that he graduated from All India Institute of Medical Sciences. That is India's best medical facility and school (built with American help, thanks for that). Chopra was the Chief of Staff at the New England Memorial Hospital. That he later joined Maharshi Mahesh Yogi and studied Ayurvedic medicine, and was appointed the director of Maharshi Ayurveda Health Center is a different story. Of course, what Leo says is correct, he is a charlatan. Money made him that.
