You missed the point.  The "Palestinians" already have a country - the one given them by Partition.

They also had a country before foreign powers took over and dictated who could live where. Just because "the U.N. mandated it" doesn't mean they had a right to do so.

By that philosophy, European descendents don't have the right to live in the US without the permission of the Native Americans.  And descendents of those who came out of Africa don't have the right to live in Europe or Asia.

It was agreed, by all relevant parties, that the UN would be the international body that would settle international disputes.  That's as good as it gets - we won't be getting some ruling from on high.

People who don't agree to live within the rules of society shouldn't accept the advantages of society.
