You done with cable/sat TV yet?

Considering ditching our sat TV. We are pretty far from any real metro, so we would need to get a super duper digital antenna for local channels, but I see the Roku service is adding local channels in for free now. Surprisingly with just 11.5Mbps DSL, Roku is fine. I am still hesitant...I don't know why. Maybe I should do a test month and see if we miss it.

Roku can be ... difficult ... to deal with at first, second, third, fourth, etc.

Where I live, Spectrum is the only high-speed internet provider. I looked into dropping the cable/internet package and going with internet-only plus YouTube TV or Hulu TV but it came out to be about the same price. I'm sure the bean counters at Spectrum know that and have priced their services accordingly.
