Who believes in God anymore? Certainly, not me. Who believes in damnation? Preachers and their punters. Who needs them?

What is "belief"?

What is "G-d" vs "God" vs "god"?

I don't see anyone as "enemy" (aside for politics, but that is like sport team fans).

Are you taking any medications?
Don't do that.

As Charles Bukowski said, I wish to believe but belief is a graveyard.

Religion is like a ghetto, impoverished.

Lots of people say they believe in god(s). I reckon they do so out of habit, more than conviction.

The graveyard is the proper destiny of everyone.

I didn't put them there.

All humans are collectively guilty, not necessarily individually guilty.  That is the SJW way.

Thus, the religious are anti-intellectual, can I help that?

Theologians beg to differ.  But like other rationalists, they are FOS.

Presumably billions of people believe in the Judeo-Christian god although they disagree a lot about what that god is like. Belief in damnation is also very popular. As for preachers, they have created a need for their "services." Many people think they need the clergy to "help them with their spiritual needs." Although religious belief is on the decline in developed countries, it is still very popular.

Damnation is in the Gilgamesh Epic and the Egyptian Book of the Dead.  Probably part of default human psychology.
