Behind every decision lies self-interest.

Anything imagined is a vanity.

The mind exists...only as a vanity.

Are you trying to argue for myth?  For socialism (free shit)?  Rationality (thought)?

You are double-entry on another string (free will).  Still no introduction by you.

As for me, I don't accept materialism or cause/effect (billiard ball universe).

Materialism means that life and consciousness are impossible.  Reductio ad absurdum.

Cause/effect means that nobody is responsible for anything.  "The Devil made me do it!" - Flip Wilson

Don't do that.

It's funny, not.

I actually agree with this. We are acting in a selfish mode even when being altruistic.
A humans desire to live is exceeded only by their willingness to die for another. Even god cannot equal this magnificent sacrifice. No god has the right to judge them.-first tenant of the Panotheust

Free thought is a myth only if you see things in black and white.  We are limited by our perceptions, and some of those control us.  The operative word being "limited", but not "denied" free thought.
