Oh, no.  Once coronavirus was dealt with, Ayatollah Pence would then go about implementing his christofascist idea of what America should be.  I'd much rather his master and he and as many of their ass-kissers as possible go down in flames this November.  Fortunately, it looks like that's exactly what's going to happen if current trends continue.

Don't misunderstand me. When I say that Pence is better than Trump, that isn't high praise. It's pretty hard for the bar to be lowered much further than it is now. Pence would have been a terrible President, but if Trump got sick with Corona and Pence became President in his place, I think it would be an improvement. Pence wouldn't be recommending people start drinking Lysol, or take a drug that has no evidence of being effective against the virus, and I doubt he would have dispersed a crowd of peaceful protesters for a photo op, or threatened to end the protests "quickly." With Pence, we would have gotten just another shitty Republican President.

LONDON ⁠â€" Most travelers from the United States will be barred from entering the European Union after it reopens its borders Wednesday because the coronavirus is still far too prevalent in the U.S., European officials announced Tuesday.

The E.U.'s 27 members have been drawing up a list of countries whose virus levels are deemed low enough to allow people from those places to travel into the bloc, which has been mostly sealed off since March.

That list of safe countries was officially announced in a statement from the Council of the E.U. on Tuesday. The U.S. â€" which has the most coronavirus cases and deaths in the world â€" was not on it.

The 15 countries that did make the list are: Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.
