Los Angeles County ambulance crews told to not transport patients with little chance of survival

As one might expect, this refusal to treat turns a small chance of survival into a zero chance of survival.

Quote
Imagine having cardiac arrest and getting picked up by an ambulance that won't take you to a hospital.

Or having a medical emergency and languishing outside an emergency room for hours.

This is what Los Angeles County faces as the onslaught of Covid-19 devastates the community -- including those without coronavirus.

"Hospitals are declaring internal disasters and having to open church gyms to serve as hospital units," County Supervisor Hilda Solis said. "Our health care workers are physically and mentally exhausted and sick."
So word to the wise, reschedule that heart attack for later when health care workers aren't overburdened from various deliberate superspreader events (orchestrated by people with access to the best medical care in the country) and general incaution.  Thanks, covidiots.  Couldn't have done it without you.

Additionally, healthcare workers are attempting to stretch their strained oxygen supplies by waiting for patients to dip below 90% oxygen saturation before administering oxygen:

Quote
The Covid-19 surge has also led to a shortage of supplemental oxygen, meaning some patients treated by EMS will go without.

"Given the acute need to conserve oxygen, effective immediately, EMS should only administer supplemental oxygen to patients with oxygen saturation below 90%," Los Angeles County EMS said in its memo.

EMS said an oxygen saturation of at least 90% is sufficient to maintain normal circulation of blood to organs and tissues.
With ever-increasing triage and de facto death panel decisions becoming more common, this pandemic has really taken a grim turn, reminiscent of grimdark fiction:

And it won't make a bit of difference that it was outed, since those who believe the co. theory will just not believe the truth. They are invulnerable to fact.

Marxists are invulnerable to their own history ;-)

"Rate Of Adverse Reactions To COVID Vaccines Already 50x Higher Than Flu Shot" ... this vaccine had to be rushed, hence less polished than the highly polished regular flu shot.

Merry Xmas results coming in now....wow... 3,750 single-day dead in US and about 1,000,000 new cases in 1 week !!!

“Easter is a very special day for me. And I see it sort of in that timeline that I’m thinking about. And I say, wouldn’t it be great to have all of the churches full?”
— Trump, in a Fox News interview 3/24/20

3,750 people didn't wake up floating on a magical cloud last night, incarnate as their 19 year old selves. They won't be rising from their graves or ashes. No reunions with Fido or great grandma. No pearly gates or St. Peter. Just as dead and gone as a flattened love bug on a windshield. Will Americans figure out what has happened and that science is their real savior? Just a few. A few smart ones will comprehend what took place.

More excellent work from the "Q" deep state morons, LOL. Too stupid to see we have socialism already....corporate socialism: printing money to save the corporations and their owners from any loss and from paying taxes. To understand this one would have to have to maintain three thoughts simultaneously. This is beyond the new conservative brain that can only process "5G bad" or "Jesus good".

Makes me want to run out and sign up for 5G.  Might as well make it for 10G while I'm at it.

Typical US consumer.  And you want to pay "more" for it monthly ;-)  China loves you.  The running dogs of America will sell us the cell phone coverage that we will hang them with (misquoting Lenin).

Building a new medical admin is hard (just ask ACA developer, Michelle Obama's college friend).  Plutocrats tried to develop a new "employee health insurance system, to cut out the middleman ... failed utterly.  Buffett, Dimon, Bezos … employee health care disruptor (Uber for employee health insurance) was a burning sack of shit like an Elon Musk electric car.  I was involved on the military side of this for 22 years, it was hard just to build something that half worked.

Vaccines don't work for all patients or sometimes any patients because if that particular bio system is inherently chaotic it will not respond to arrogant reductionism.  See Dr Sapolsky again from Stanford, on Chaos And Reductionism on Youtube,

Now it is literally a 3-way race between the new strain's amped-up spread rate, the vaccination rate and hospital system capacity.

NC hit 10,000 cases per day.  I remember when 1,000 cases per day was extremely worrisome.  :(

NC ICUs almost at the breaking point

Really scary stuff.  Once hospitals are overwhelmed, that's when the casualties really start ramping up.

A lot of staff are exhausted. This has been going on for months and is getting worse, not better.

Now they want to increase the work load of nurses by increasing the number of patients they're responsible for!

Is that just Ca., or is that nation-wide?

There's only so far you can push people until they break. Even when there isn't a global pandemic, nurses hours are something I wouldn't be able to handle. People really take them for granted, and now they're being pushed to the breaking point on a daily basis, without the space, resources, or the manpower to do what they need to do.

Based on death rates I would think after the health care workers, those with co-morbidity, and the 65 plus are vaccinated, we should continue with age brackets...55-64, then 45-54, and so on. Guessing it will probably just be a free-for-all instead.

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2021/01/12/world/covid-19-coronavirus#the-trump-administration-will-call-for-wider-vaccine-eligibility

Trump Administration Will Recommend Vaccinating All Americans Over 65 now.  It's similar to Biden's plan to vaccinate.  I'm all for vaccinating too.  And my state, Virginia, is now in Phase 1B which includes those over 75.  It's right there in print at Virginia's Department of Health, but no one I know is being given the vaccine, and from what I can piece together, it's because the supplies are not there.  Calls to the department sent my neighbor in circles around a complicated phone tree, and then just cut her off before she could speak to anyone.  There may be information I'm lacking, but I don't know how you can vaccinate more people without the vaccine.  And I'm wondering how changing the policy will speed anything up without the vaccine.
