When you dive into it, i mean, dive into daily politics, it is a cradle of filth. It is a theatre, it is a application stage of post truth scenario.
Fuck all of them off...
I should focus on my own canalisation : ) ahahaha and it is kinda having some intellectual direction.

Giving up politics, for the second time, will be my New Year's Resolution for 2020.

Politics is too important to be left to the politicians.

CIA/FBI will take care of it.

Tell me how you as a ordinary citizen can change sth? by voting?
The Depolitisation and depolarisation of the generations has been completed. Nobody even goes to vote coz they do not believe that it will change sth...
60's generations were overeducated than the current generation and they rebelled against the system... It means that to educate the population does not work for them who rotate the world around the sun... :D

Hmm...yeah...good point. Not a damned thing I can do, so I'll just give up.

I try to keep track of politics that involve the working class, but I've definitely tuned out of most news. Whereas I use to be pretty much up-to-date with political news, I now find myself a few weeks behind everyone else.

I despise the aristocracy and all their bullshit, I don't need the news to reaffirm that. Very few in government represent my social class, so the games they play amongst themselves are just that... games, that I have no control over. And I've seen what happens when the working class or it's allies makes it into Congress... it's made sure they know they don't belong and that, even if the people elected them, they don't "belong" there.

Besides voting, I don't see much point in discussing politics.

Labor in GB at one time represented the working people.  Now it Is champagne socialism and UK caliphate.

I just find the current political climate very engaging. It's amusing me no end to see my president make fools of us all, and make America the laughingstock of the world. I can only hope that America will come out of this stronger and better than it was before. But I doubt it.

I'm too young to find the humour in it... the ramifications of our actions will affect me and my friends for many, many years to come.

Spoiled or not, I enjoyed living in the dominate empire on Earth. There was at least the chance to make it a better place. Now it's quite likely that by my thirties I will be seeing that empire fully collapse and replaced by a foreign one that I have no say in.

Such is life.

I've just come to accept the fact that any and all groups of people en masse are insane, be it political, religious, cultural, entertainment like gaming, fandoms, sports, just any mass group focused on a single idea or concept is a hive mind where the smallest push causes it's foundation to collapse.

I think this is why Joker did so well.

US has always been a flaming sack of fresh shit on GB porch.  You just haven't smelt it until now.  Hopefully Emperor Xi will provide rice bowls (but no rice for you), bicycles and Mao jackets for the whole planet.

Shiranu ... you moved to Canada?  Think Vancouver.  Think now is the time to learn Mandarin.

Munch ... all human behavior comes from psychology, not from political rationalizations.  Monsters from the Id.

Perhaps, but it's those same groups of people that have allowed us to progress as a species.

Without groups, humanity would still have an expected lifespan of maybe 15, 20 years at best. We would be hoping the plant we ate wasn't poison or that there wasn't too cold of winter to kill off vegetation... or hunting animals that are better equipped to hunt us.

Groups may be insane, but everything... and I mean literally everything... great that humanity has achieved is only possible because of that insanity.
