This was last Friday ... this was West-NW Oklahoma, but crossed immediately into Kansas.

Don't do that.

Some people will do anything for an adrenaline rush! It does look lie fun, though. I recall seeing a few years ago a TV show with a radical storm-chasing vehicle.

This isn't it, but it's what came up on google:

The big tornado season is late April until early June.

They put us Californians down for putting up with the occasional earthquake, while they have those tornados every single year! LOL

Like a dog chasing a car I always wonder what they are going to do with it if they catch one?
The Christian church, in its attitude toward science, shows the mind of a more or less enlightened man of the Thirteenth Century. It no longer believes that the earth is flat, but it is still convinced that prayer can cure after medicine fails.

Because of fracking, for the last 20 years we have more earthquakes (up to 5.2) every week.

It was expected to bad enough in Tulsa that restaurants are closing early. I had to go four places to find somewhere open to get a burger. Strangely though, I still have not seen a drop of rain.

The month of May, here, is usually hot and dry. Not so this year!

"They" used to live in California. Bellflower to be exact.

In 1962, that is where my grandparents lived, in a trailer park.  Then they put a freeway thru their location and they eventually moved up to a trailer park in Gardena.  That is where they where still living until my grandmother passed in 1982.  My parents and I lived in Paramount 1962-1970.  Experienced my first earthquake there early 1970 (Long Beach).  Missed the San Fernando Valley quake of 1971.

I woke up to emergency alerts on my phone and the tornado sirens blaring...

I think Oklahoma has over 600 quakes a year because of fracking.  And while there, don't drink the water.
