Greetings
« on: September 29, 2018, 01:41:03 PM »
Its nice to meet everyone. Thanks for the approval. Hope to have a nice discussion. I myself consider myself a Theist, but i don't believe in Abrahamic cults. I made more or less my own cult of obvious good and evil, since i feel they were made more for spite than to find truth, also how does on not know if one enters damnation or whatever if one has a black and white view on a certain group.

So yeah, its more or less why i don't follow it. Was raised Christian though. I consider protestantic Christianity more or less, more preferable than like traditional Christianity like "catholicism and orthodoxy" and Sunni islam. Since i describe it more as a cultural form of mafia religious culture. Not to mention it stagnates science since its not really worth studying our world when the whole focus is onto the next one neither to create a better future for next generation since its about the next world. Proof of that is when Islamic world existed, it had science... but there is some certain hadiths saying "knowledge is a gift from God i think it says, then there is another saying useless knowledge is not worth collecting" most likely it can go either way... but they saw at that time i think that science would make people go away from God... so they just ended up not caring "around 1100 century AD i think" and the next world was their entire focus... same with traditional Christianity in western Europe til 1500 protestantic reformation happened or earlier maybe, took some time even then but yeah.

When Protestantism came however and started making sceptics then Science started to take hold since Protestantic Christianity atleast has a religious culture of individualism since bible is the only authority meaning its not an establishment saying "you can't have those views" its more institutions within a institution who just hold the bible as the only source. And well i consider that sort of a break through in terms of just getting back at track again.

Either case i am anti mafia religious cultures mostly.

Sorry for the wall of text, but just wanted to share some stuff. Its nice to meet either way.

Well its more God of obvious good and evil. As in what is obviously bad is consequences for, what is good is more or less a reward in itself in terms of purpose of destination

Well, Abe Lincoln said "When I do bad, I feel bad. When I do good, I feel good. That is my religion."

So you're sort of like  that?

Well in a way. But i believe morality has some objective reason behind it. Like i think humans are in general flawed beings, but that in the end there is something so obviously wrong that humans in the end fix and correct themself of that obvious good and evil. That is what i consider to be the real truth more or less

Sounds kind of like a Zoroastrian.

I have no idea what you just said.  They're words, and they're arranged in a sentence like words should be arranged, but everything else is foggy.

Sounds kind of like a Zoroastrian.
Not sure if it is. The difference is what the abrahamic god did in comparison is it claimed authority over it. So to rid themself of competition having it say "if you don't follow this stuff aswell as not swearing loyalty to that god, you are damned essentially" Zoroastrianism was more heaven and hell based on deeds, i dont think it was very specific it was more vague i think.

Being a religion of obvious good and evil is however more clear i think, for example, gays. I am by definition against toxic femininity as in terms of i feel it makes people more submissive and less productive in terms of looking up cute pictures, while masculinity is more based on actions, doing stuff like helping people. Example would be anime Naruto where they do stuff, not to be confused that you have to look masculine you can still be attractive to each other, i just mean as in i feel the reason for suicide factors is two things, toxic femininity and pressure, its why i think transsexuals commit suicide because of this as in male to female. "not to say you cant have empathy thats the good stuff that makes us humans, i will say toxic femininity is only productive on one field and that is fashion, but little femininity is ok, but it should not overtake masculinity in humans since that is the cornerstone of productivity more or less in my view and thats when it gets dangerous" (in the end what matters is if your life is bad it means you are doing something wrong... thats just one example where masculinity kicks in, while femininity is the opposite of that and is not trying to find solutions "I mean objectively bad environments or to improve is of course a good thing to adress it, but there is a typical difference with wanting better changes... and just complaining if your toaster doesn't work is what i mean"

But here is the thing, lets say you are gay, you just like this but you are a programmer, good helpful person, then you have another gay guy who makes abusive environments. By default. Are those two of equal value when we argue obvious good and evil? Obviously not. So what makes one think one doesnt go to damnation if one says stuff like... all gays are evil or all gays deserve this. Its why i am more or less or i think what if one enters damnation if one thinks like that? So its a very black and white view point. I just feel its more about spite than truth in my view atleast. So its why i dont believe it.

For example, if it was me. I would be atleast like alcohol is warned about for intoxication, as is cigarettes for lung cancer. I would not mind if there was a warning label that Anal sex has highest risk of HIV/AIDS, since its more riskier than vaginal sex or anything else "like maybe if one sees anal sex porn for example or research". So just to let people know atleast about the risk considering, bugchasing culture (which is a subgroup meaning gay males who want to get AIDS or infect other with it)

Anal sex is the highest-risk sexual behavior for HIV transmission. Vaginal sex has a lower risk, and activities like oral sex, touching, and kissing carry little to no risk for getting or transmitting HIV. The vast majority of men who get HIV get it through anal sex. However, anal sex is also one of the ways women can get HIV.

They explored the emerging trend of gay men who eschew condoms and the development of a barebacking subculture. They also noted through their qualitative research that some barebackers were in search of HIV.

See this is how i would do it based on common sense. But i also don't agree that being gay is a born with but its also wrong when people say its a choice. Both are wrong. Its a mental state, like if one is into animals for example for arguments sake, this doesnt make you magnitized to it. Like you are technically born as a heterosexual since that is what nature really wanted us to be.. But bi effects is a thing and well attraction is also that so its a spectrum of what you like, the higher it is the more likely you are into that but it doesnt go instant there it just means you are more into it since you are you. So yeah its at best mental state of what you are as a human in my view.

Welcome.  Hope you stick around---if you can take some criticism, for much is coming your way.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent,
Is he able but not willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able or willing?
Then why call him god?

Well, this guy could be interesting to engage with.  Most theists are "unthoughtful, convinced, or think we (wrong ones) are all going to Hell"...
Atheist born, atheist bred.  And when I die, atheist dead!
