If you were, you would not use the term "monkey" so casually.

I would use the Farengi intonation of "human" but it doesn't come across on the inter webs.

Spawn of Satan is too religious for this crowd.
Ha’át’íísh baa naniná?
Azee’ Å,a’ish nanídį́į́h?
Táadoo ánít’iní.
What are you doing?
Are you taking any medications?
Don't do that.

I think the tonality is "hooomins".  I would guess "spawn of satan" is a close translation, but it would be more mercantile like "Male of the Thief-Punisher Who Got Caught".  My Ferengi is a bit weak from lack of practice.

Farpoint and Deep Space Nine were sufficient.  Quark was a fascinating character in the sense that I finally understood Republicans by paying attention to him.

Yes, we all get our sense of reality from Science Fiction.  I liked his brother Mog better, and that Cardasian tailor/spy.

Cardasians have the best bookkeeping and accounting in the galaxy.  So they aren't all bad ;-)

You guys got me about Garak.  I didn't recall him.

Garak didn't want you to.  A useful spy ability.

I'll be darned if I don't somewhat recall that character now.  Time brings memories to the forefront.  I can get a vague mental image of him and personality.  And no, I didn't google him.
