You may remember this from a month ago.  It was part of the then fashionable "plane travel nightmare stories."  A passenger flying from Spain to the Netherlands had such fierce body odor that the pilot decided to make an emergency landing.  How humiliating for the passenger, and how thoughtless of a person so smelly to board a plane without cleaning himself.  Turns out he acquired a potentially fatal disease in Spain called necrosis, a dying of bodily tissue, and now a month later he has died of the condition.

QuoteA Russian guitarist, whose overpowering body odor required a plane to make an emergency landing, died on Monday.

Andrey Suchilin was removed from a May 29 flight going from Spain to the Netherlands after pilots made the decision to make an emergency landing in Portugal following passenger complaints.

The smell was so bad passengers were nauseous and allegedly began to faint, according to Newsweek. The incident made headlines around the world.

Tragically, it has now been revealed that the smell coming from the musician was not because of poor hygiene but because of necrotic tissue as he had developed necrosis while holidaying in Spain....

....Necrosis is a medical condition in which the body’s tissues die after being starved of oxygen. It can be caused by a number of things including injury, infection, frostbite and deep vein thrombosis. It can be treated, but the affected areas often have to be removed surgically and in a timely fashion....

....Suchilin’s condition worsened with the tissue necrosis spreading to new areas such as his kidneys heart and lungs. He died on June 25

The Walking Dead smell bad? Who knew?
Yeah, when I first read the story a month ago, it was kind of amusing and disgusting at the same time.  Now it's just tragic.  He thought he was suffering from some "normal beach infection,"  found himself in a foreign country without money, and thought it was something he could just ride out.  He probably saw his family doctor as soon as he got back to Russia, but by then it was too late.

But yeah, he was walking around while his body was rotting, and he didn't know it.

That is a lesson for the "body politic".  We have two zombie parties here.

Bet the airline doesn't advertise that "you're dying and smell, so we hate you".  LOL!  Every business tries their hardest to diminish complaints and make themselves look good.

Ooh dear :S. Well tbh given this fact it is in the interest of everyone's safety that they take such standards, if disease is an issue and it could spread.

Some people can afford a home but not manage it.  Some people want to live outside societies rules.  The goal is to find those who can adjust to housing and learn to support them selves over time.

That is what we all hope to be, and live and work with.  But society is broad and history is deep.  And to a degree, mental illness is a variant, not an illness.  That and biology, and parenting fails.  Not everyone can handle life at 25+.

It doesn't work when you admit you are lying about it...
