I hope it isn't true ... that prurience leads to full nudity, leads to pedophilia, leads of snuff films.
I had the same thought.

That is how it worked with the Romans.  Must we advance to violent contests?  Oh .... hockey ... guess we already have.

Yeah, and after the snuff films they'll make chewing tobacco films...

While I think the cheerleaders argument that they equally represent the team is pretty weak, as they are just decorations, I think they have some rights about where they go and how they advertise their dancing skills professionally.  The NFL limitations are sexist.  Shouldn't it be equal that if one of the cheerleaders are at some party or bar, the male football players shouldn't be allowed in?

Yeah, that bugs me.  Either give them the field more often or give them their own venue.

Well, I had it more in mind that the cheerleaders should be able to attend parties unrelated to NFL events without leaving if SOME team player showed up and that they be able to advertise their dancing credentials.

But I don't accept their idea that they are equal representatives of the franchise.  The game is the players, not the cheerleaders.

I agree with that, too.

If the NFL ended the obviously sexist cheerleading squads, I would never notice.

I always use NFL as an acronym for "not fucking likely".

Which says nothing about your opinion on the subject...  ;)
