I can't think of many religions that don't want to spread 'their word'.  All organized religions would love to force you into their belief system.

then why does Islam and its practices always get a pass from certain progressive groups instead of being called out on it?

Simple. Because they force it with lethal coercion. We respect that.
Other religions do not threaten violence. More fool them.

Here is the evidence:

What other religion can match this?

Why do you think they get a pass? You're wrong.

YOU want to force your beliefs on them for practicing their religion. It's wrong no matter who you are or what proclivities you have. It's pure hypocrisy to discriminate against one religion while practicing or tolerating another.
A cynical habit of thought and speech, a readiness to criticise work which the critic himself never tries to perform, an intellectual aloofness which will not accept contact with life’s realities â€" all these are marks, not as the possessor would fain to think, of superiority but of weakness. -TR

what gave you the opinion that I either practice or tolerate any other religion. I don't tolerate any religion when said religion is trying to force its indoctrination on others. Islam, Christianity, Judaism. I'll only tolerate them when their a practice that keeps to itself and doesn't try and force its way into things like government or education.

Beats me!  Why do any organized religion get a pass on any of its negative actions and teachings?  I don't buy the idea that we are friends because we have the same enemy.

You aren't Middle Eastern.  The enemy of my enemy is my friend.  Maybe you aren't Middle Eastern, but a lot of other people are.

On this we agree. So telling someone it's wrong to wear a (insert religious clothing of choice here) is sheer hypocrisy.

So if someone walked around wearing a Swastika, not attacking anyone, not spreading his beliefs around, just wearing a Swastika around uni or in public, you'd be fine with that?
Tell me what's the difference between a Swastika and the Hijab?

I wouldn't be fine with it, but that's the person's right and I would not have the right to interfere. I don't like the God Hates Fags people either, but it's their right to exercise their fucked up beliefs.
What's the difference between a swastika and a hijab? Do you seriously not know that?

Why stop there? Do you object to people wearing a yarmulke? A cross?

I do?

One is a well-known symbol of the Nazi Party. The other is religious dress, not a symbol.

One might better compare a hijab to a yarmulke.
