I know :) That's the interesting part. We'll either need to get rid of the monetary system, get rid of most of the population, get rid of current society, or do something even more drastic.

These are not opposites. Something can easily be both. "drastic" just means extreme, severe or radical. Considering the level of impact abolishing money would have on the world, the term certainly qualifies.
