I think it depends on what one considers positive. Some people think the border wall, deregulation and tax breaks for the wealthy are positives but I don't. Some things I would consider positive is he doubled the child tax credit, he signed the CARES Act, he signed Right to Try legislation, he launched a global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality in other countries, he addressed the opioid crisis. I don't know if he can be credited for it but prior to COVID unemployment was low and the stock market was high. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I can list a lot more seriously negative things.

Anyone who doesn't acknowledge that Trump lies is ignorant or lying. Even his supporters acknowledge that "he isn't always truthful" and then add "all politicians are liars" or some other excuse to minimize his bad behavior.
I guess one could label some of what you listed as good--but you are right, it depends upon what one thinks is good or bad.  In any case, it is a mighty small list compared to the other list one could make.

I made a thread about it.  I can't recall off the top of my head what it was about.

He could've gotten brownie points in both parties if he had followed through with overhauling American infrastructure.  That was something that Sanders wanted to work with him on.  Or completely pulling out troops from Iraq and Syria, which didn't happen.

He's had such a negative administration that drinking water correctly must seem like a big win for him.
Yeah--or walking right.

Trump weakens landmark environmental law, the National Environmental Policy Act, which required Federal agencies to evaluate the environmental effects of their actions.  Now, fewer projects will be subject to these sort of environmental evaluations.  This in addition to the previous gutting of American environmental laws.

This move is certainly in keeping with his recent actions - Don't Tell The CDC and Please Slow Down Testing.  Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil - a blind eye sees no injustice.

Quote“This may be the single biggest giveaway to polluters in the past 40 years,” said Brett Hartl, government affairs director at the Center for Biological Diversity.

“NEPA’s dismantling is a win for corruption, a win for polluters, and a win for those that profit off the destruction of our planet,” Hartl said. “Everyone else loses.”

This is another one of those issues that I see as bad policy (environmental impact, ignoring community concerns, more corruption) and other people will see as good policy (faster infrastructure growth, cheaper energy). Supporters will also cite more jobs but that isn't true, it's actually fewer jobs.

Didn't he order some sort of assassination strike against a foreign government official, prompting a retaliatory shelling of American troops?

Not exactly Nobel Peace Prize material.

Obama got a Nobel Peace prize before he did anything!  Magic N*word.  And started 4 new wars, twice as many as George W started, and he kept Afghanistan going while withdrawing the US from Iraq with its tail between its legs.  Ho Ho Ho Chi Minh!  Gen Suleimani was on the US death list since 2005, for participation in improvised explosive attacks against US et al in Iraq.  Democrats want all enemies of the US to win win win (if the current WH is Republican).  One third or more of the US are domestic enemies.  Foreigners are defacto enemies.

I was surprised he even brought up decriminalizing homosexuality at all considering the Republicans still have in their platform that marriage is between one man and one woman.

Putin and Russian parliament are passing legislation changing their constitution to ban same-sex marriage. According to the Pew Research Center’s Global Attitudes Survey in 2019, only 14 percent of Russians said homosexuality should be accepted by society, while 74 percent said it shouldn’t be.

Darn those Russian socialists ;-)  In the 1950s, 55% of all engineers in the Soviet Union were women.

That strike that killed an Iranian general was just condemned by the UN as immoral.  I guess, if one really stretches it it could be good.  Or not.

The UN is a communist front organization since 1951.  It only functioned once, in 1950, when the Soviet security counsel guy left the room temporarily to potty, then the others snuck in a UN police action against N Korea.  Today it is Agenda 2020 etc ... which makes it the enemy of humanity.  Same as anyone who supports the UN.  The UN was created by noted Communists, FDR and Eleanor ;-))

This is what you get when you appoint lobbyists to your cabinet.  All such appointees are lobbyists for some money making scheme or other (often war profiteering).

It's a few jobs in a dying sector of obsolete technology at huge environmental expense.  And every time that pipeline has a leak, we pay dearly for it - in money and in lives.  It's such a fool's bargain.

There were plans for a new pipeline to run through NC and through the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.  Just imagine the economic cost of it springing a leak at that parkway.  Thankfully, the project was scrapped.  Too costly.  Imagine that.  A project that would supposedly usher in an economic boon cancelled because its too costly.  Cost/revenue is supposed to be its main selling point!  Definitely a mismatch between expectations and reality.

Trump has been pushing for offshore drilling and it's doubtful that he's given a single thought to any of the pros or cons of that - he has oil buddies and they like money.  Nothing else matters to him.  There's a reason why offshore drilling was previously banned.  We don't want and certainly can't afford another Deepwater Horizon.  That's a liability in the dozens of billions, to say nothing of human life and nature itself.

Or we could just invest in newer, cleaner energy and create much longer-lasting jobs at a fraction of the cost while simultaneously pursuing true energy independence, all without biting our nails that our backyard is going to be a superfund site and toxic sludge is going to spill into our drinking water.  It's really a very simple choice.  Like so many things, it's only "controversial" because of partisan politics.

Can anybody recall anything--and I mean anything--positive that the orange monster has done?

I was talking to a brother the other day, and he mentioned that he spoke to our youngest brother recently (all via phone).  My youngest brother is the only christian in the clan (due to his avidly christian wife) and only trumpie.  My brother asked him what he thought of trump's lies--his reply was 'what lies???'.  I am so tempted to call the little jerk and tell him something like this--Mom channeled me last night and told me to tell you that you are no long a member of this family and no longer any sort of relative.  I am sorely tempted--probably won't do it, tho.  Anyway, anybody that is alive knows that trump cares nothing for the truth and only speaks it by mistake.  That got me to wondering--has he done anything at all that is positive???  I can't remember anything.  Can any of you???

One and only one: the directive to return to the moon by 2024.  That's the only thumbs-up I'll give him.

Moon mining only practical if you have infinite money.  The world and the US is going broke.  The original Moon shot was Cold War strutting.

I had forgot about that.  Yeah, I can get behind that one.

Congratulations, now America has better dishwashers, dryers, showerheads and faucets...etc. This is by far the most alarming one if you ask me.
