Jeez, I didn't even know Trump had a "spiritual advisor."

This is a very good video by Aron Ra. It's not all about Trump, but a good portion of it is. Did you know that shortly after wolves were brought back from the brink of extinction, saved by conservationists and national parks that got them back on their feet, Trump made it legal to hunt down and kill wolves without limitation? Probably not, because the news doesn't talk about it. He even allows hunters to use the trackers on the wolves, which were put there by those trying to save the wolves, to find them. Any trap imaginable, even those made of barbed wire, is free game now. Just another thing to add to the long list of insane, evil things Trump has done.

This is a long video, but I highly recommend it. Aron Ra is a very talented speaker, and his speech is very thorough. I learned a lot by watching it. It's clear that he spends a lot of time researching and developing his points before speaking.

And yes, Baruch, he does talk about the faults of Obama and Hillary too.

Edit: I've gotta save this quote from him:

"Trump is an incoherent, incompetent, criminally corrupt, willfully ignorant, immoral, unfaithful, unethical, crooked, fraudulent, narcissistic, pathological liar, a racist, fascist, shyster, a business failure, dangerous science denier, and apparently demented traitor, with a reading level, speech, and intellectual capacity of a fourth grader, with no comprehension, no compunction, no conscience, no awareness of history or geography, no appreciation of or understanding of science, and no concern for the environment either."
"Oh, wearisome condition of humanity,
Born under one law, to another bound;
Vainly begot, and yet forbidden vanity,
Created sick, commanded to be sound."

If Trump were Satan, I am looking forward to all you atheists spending eternity with your infernal master ;-) Trump is nothing, a distraction for sheeple. Same as Hillary … your once and future D party nominee.

I have to admire trump jr. Not only did he come onto a very leftist and democrat headed panel of gaggling soccer moms, but he held his cool when they didn't let him get a word in edge-ways. And when calling out their own faults, having them deny their own issues and things they can't fess up to just made it all the more enjoyable to watch.

Ah yes. Triggering the Libs. The most admirable of human accomplishments. Truely, Drumpf Jr. is a shining beacon for all of us who wish to leave the world just a little bit better off than when we entered it. As a polluted white ethno Christian state wasteland.

Better than FEMA camping Dems. Still waiting for Republicans setting up actual Nazi regimes. Not sure if I want to be ironic or not. Part of the dilemma of the 1930s ... support Hitler or Stalin. Both were Progressives of their time.

QuoteFormer megachurch pastor and ex-evangelical Joshua Harris admitted in a recent interview that evangelical Christians supporting Donald Trump has dealt a huge blow to the credibility of religion. And he’s right on the money with that assessment. Trump has helped to further expose the hypocrisy of the Religious Right, and while many members of the movement can’t see it, those who could have become members are all too aware of it.

QuoteFormer mega church pastor and author Joshua Harris recently did an interview with Axios on HBO, where he talked about the fact that evangelical support for Donald Trump has helped destroy the credibility of the evangelical movement here in the United States. We have said that repeatedly here on this program. Plenty of other folks have been saying it repeatedly, but here's the thing. This is a guy who came from inside that kind of world. He sees what's happening both inside and out, and even though he announced earlier this year that he is abandoned his faith, he still sees what has happened because evangelicals overwhelmingly support Donald Trump. I think the latest poll shows his approval rating among evangelicals is 77% I think his approval rating among just Republicans is slightly lower than 77% so evangelicals, they're the top. That's his biggest voting block. If you don't include the people who wear the white hoods and all that. But this is a big deal. And yes, Harris is absolutely right. Support for Trump has further degraded the credibility of the religious right. And here's the thing, those of us who've been following the religious right me for 15 years now, we knew they never had any credibility. I mean, anybody who's ever listened to Frank Shaffer or read one of his books understands that this group never had any credibility, but they do among their own followers. And you're not going to change their opinions of Donald Trump. You're not going to convince them that they're somehow bad Christians for supporting Donald Trump. But what you are going to do is give this movement, the evangelical movement, the religious right, the moral majority, whatever the hell you want to call them. you're going to put it in the heads of people who may be headed down that path, that these aren't real Christians, that this isn't the group for you, that this isn't where you want to be. If you actually want to follow the gospels, and that's what matters. We're not going to get people to drop out of the evangelical movement just because they support Trump. But you could easily convince other folks in this country that that's not where they want to go because they have no credibility. That's why stories like this are important. That's how you tackle these groups, whether it's the religious right, the NRA, or as I mentioned, the groups with the white hoods. It's hard to get in there and shake those members and make them realize that what they're doing is following a false God. But what you can do is make it to where anybody who's on the fence about whether or not that's for them is to let them know that this isn't what they think it is, and it's not going to go the way that they think. They're not gonna find salvation. They're not gonna find real friendship. They're going to find a bunch of phonies. They're going to find a bunch of frauds and find out that every one of them is really just a tool for corporations and people trying to make a quick buck just like Donald Trump himself.

The Evangelicals had some credibility? I never knew that!

Evangelicals were a growing force in 1986 ... you are only 33 years late. Rev Pat Robertson's embrace by the Republicans was a blackpill for me.

Watching Evangelicals 30 years ago helped me see the futility of trying to believe in religious garbage, and eventually that led me away from the hypocrisy of religion and to atheism. No doubt there are some moral and honest religious types, but they are still delusional. However, the Evangelical movement should be held in moral contempt. It is evil, deceitful and awash in the very sin it condemns. It claims to be full of past sinners that drank, fornicated, cheated and lied. Judging by what they are now, they must have been unimaginably horrible, but of course God forgave them. Imagine that; "You have stolen from your neighbors, cheated on your wife and committed murder, but believe in Me, and you are forgiven. You can now go out and do it some more, and you will be forgiven again."

How convenient to create a god whose only demand is that you believe in him (which the knuckleheads all did anyway). A more realistic god would demand some kind of amends, but that would be way too much trouble. It's best to create a god with much lower standards whose demand might just as well be commanding you to breath air from time to time and you will be saved.

In a nutshell--yep!
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent,
Is he able but not willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able or willing?
Then why call him god?

Evangelicals are champagne conservatives. The other side of champagne socialists. Bourgeoisie.

I never understood what the poem Jabberwocky meant by the term "slithy toves." Now I think I understand. It's fun to watch them gyre and gimble in the wabe.
