It would be ok if he attacked their policies - fair game for politicians - it's another thing when he attacks their nativity, citizenship or the color of their skins. Because this is red meat for his supporters who still worship the ground he walks on he gets away with it. This disgusting show from the White House will continue and probably will get worst until the majority is so fed up they get to vote him out.

Only one is from non-US (Somalia).  The other three are born in the US.  But then I don't consider Detroit or NYC to be a part of the US, they need to be walled off and declared a foreign country ;-)

As always, the book--The Dead Zone, is the best.  Christopher Walken did a great job in the movie.  Did not see the TV series, tho.

Funny thing is I saw that movie, and the TV series, and forgot all about it. The TV series featured Nicole de Boer (ST:DSN) and Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club). While the movie focused on the Martin Sheen as president, the TV series is on Hall's character who has superpower. Watch it if you can.

I saw the movie long ago, but didn't even know about a TV series. I'll check it out. Thanks!

Trump is actually right this time, since 3 of those Democrats came from the U.S.A., where the government is a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if it still has a functioning government at all). So kudos to Trump for finally telling the truth for once.

Except I believe Congressman Omar ... has violated her terms of naturalization, by lying on her immigration papers.  But that is for her to fix.  I don't mind if she was married to her brother, and had children by him, and lied about it years ago.

True but Trump's goal is on a different lane. Besides giving red meat to his base his recent tweet rage is to force the Dems to unite against him - Pelosi and the squad, which he has labelled the latter as far-left socialists. His election campaign for 2020 is to brand the whole Democratic party platform as socialism - Venezuelan style. Remains to be seen if this strategy will pay off for him. Should the Dems choose instead Biden, then it's plan B - run against sleepy Joe. As I said previously, do not underestimate Trump.

Don't underestimate Biden either (a CIA troll, same as the Clintons and Obamas).  We haven't heard from Assange yet.

We don't know what the Dem platform will be yet.  I don't have any optimism however, any more than I am optimistic about the Rep platform.

Hoping for a more successful Independent candidate in 2020.

I think it's simpler than that for Dems to win the presidency: win back the rust-belt states - they lost 5 out 6 in 2016. Up to now, Biden seems to be the best candidate who could pull that if he can resist falling on his face- he is too prone to make silly blunders but next to Trump, there are mindless.

Too much time left before the convention to even guess who the eventual nominee will be. Biden might make it, he's got a good chance, if, as you say, he can keep from falling on his face.

I hate to say it, but I have my doubts I will vote for Biden if he is the nominee. If the choice is between a loose-cannon like Trump or a puppet like Biden... either way I have to walk away with my hands dirty :\.

Hopefully my transfer request will have gone through before that time comes though, and I will no longer be an American citizen that has to worry about that. I guess working for an international corporation isn't all bad...

I doubt that would work.  We already went through that to some degree in 2016 and that accusation has lost a lot of its credibility.  Basically, they'd have to argue that all other western countries are socialist hellholes and seriously get people to believe it in order to make that sort of attack work.

That said, it'd probably play really well with the sorts of people who already believe that Trump is a godly man, Obama is the antchrist, the Confederate flag is patriotic, and America was founded as a Christian nation.
