I suppose he could argue semantics here.  Just him being in a snit over losing wouldn't really be peaceful by most people's standards.  Every losing nominee that I can remember has gracefully called for unification of the country after the election.  Although everyone knows there will be no unification, and the politicians actions will make sure that never happens.  But Trump never does anything in a way that doesn't create chaos.  He thrives on chaos, and if he loses, he is sure to leave in one last glorious moment of a chaotic scandal, much to the delight of everyone.  But for some this is only proper.  I recall a couple years ago when one preacher warned of rioting in the streets if Trump loses.  Oh my!  Rioting in the streets?  Hey wait.  That's what we have now when he's in office.

OK, OK.  So it's mostly just protesting in the streets, but that's a semantic call too, I suppose.

Hitlery?  Comey?  Yes, peaceful unification, like Lincoln after Appamattox.

This particular issue would ordinarily be politically useful, but today?  I'm not sure.  The news is swamped with the egregious activities in the White House and the Senate.  While I had never heard about this before, I felt no surprise at all.  None.  I'm desensitized to our political leadership, and to the large minority that actually sees nothing wrong with the incompetence combined with the disinterest in the lives of citizens from the administration.

The utube guy probably put a lot of work into finding this information, I suspect he may think it's the political crown jewel negative politics, but really there isn't much new about it.  Biden and his staff are probably overwhelmed choosing which flaws of Trump's administration they should focus on.  This one doesn't stand out that much. But I do wonder why the mainstream media missed this back when it happened.  While it strikes me as nothing special today, it may have had a much larger impact at the beginning of the pandemic.  It may have even affected White House policy, although I admit that would have been rather unlikely.

I think what surprised me most about the last 4 yrs. is the huge strength hatred has in politics.  The orange monster apparently knew that--he uses hatred and it's brother, fear to stay in power.  The more hatred he can muster, the stronger he becomes.  Love, caring and compassion matters little these days.  Hatred is carrying the day.

Hatred is a strong motivator in politics.  When I was involved in an environmental cause 40 years ago, the professionals knew how to fan those flames.  They brought in agitators, and used the standard hot button lies like "environmentalists are commies."  It's powerful and considered fair game by strategists.  A guy once told me during that period that we would win that battle because no one could maintain that level of hatred for long.  I already knew he was wrong, because I saw what it does to a crowd.
