The report found President Vladimir Putin personally directed the Russian efforts to hack computer networks and accounts affiliated with the Democratic Party and leak information damaging to Clinton.

The panel, formally called the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, also alleged Manafort collaborated with Russians, including oligarch Oleg Deripaska and an alleged Russian intelligence operative, Konstantin Kilimnik, before during and after the election.

The panel found Manafort's role and proximity to Trump created opportunities for Russian intelligence, saying his "high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services ... represented a grave counter-intelligence threat".

Bannon and another defendant, Brian Kolfage, promised donors that the campaign, which ultimately raised more than $25 million, was "a volunteer organization" and that "100% of the funds raised...will be used in the execution of our mission and purpose," according to the indictment unsealed Thursday.

But instead, according to prosecutors, Bannon, through a non-profit under his control, used more than $1 million from We Build the Wall to "secretly" pay Kolfage and cover hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bannon's personal expenses.

Kolfage, according to the charges, spent more than $350,000 of the donations on personal expenses, including cosmetic surgery, a luxury SUV, a golf cart, payments toward a boat, home renovations, jewelry, personal tax payments and credit card debt.

Man, these guys are really taking the redhats for suckers.  Can't blame them for that impression.

The government money for the wall, is national defense and anti-crime to protect the US against domestic enemies enabling human trafficking.  Same as the scam in Europe and across the English Channel.  Even the Dalai Lama says, these so called refugees have no rights.

It is quite possible that Bannon is just another grifter.  Thank G-d, that the Dems have none of those (Clinton Foundation).

Most likely Trump is some kind of crook, but then so are the Bidens.  The trick is, if you are skirting the law, is to have very good accountants and lawyers arrange things for plausible deniability.  This has worked very well for the Clintons also.

The US senatorial system disadvantages large states (but get more or less covered by the US house system).  The US house system is more fair than than the Tribal Assembly, because our system isn't based on classes or to disadvantage the urban population.  The US senate system is more like the Centuriate Assmebly, because money for campaigning is much more decisive, except in tiny states.
