I love the way Scots curse.  They are the least beta male among Europeans, in spite of the kilt.  So the juxtaposition is particularly delicious.  It wouldn't work at all if you used "French" for the comparison ;-)  Scots brogue is thick enough, it could pass for Arabic ...

I haven't played golf since 1992.  And only then to be Dad's partner at the Member/Guest Tourney at his club (once rated among the 50th hardest courses).  I had a decent swing, but Dad insisted on improving it to the point where I was ineffectual.  One year, it rained hard and he was having enough trouble with his own swing that he stopped bothering me.  I went nuts like Caddyshack and we won. 

And I've never played a round since...
