*how Fucking amazing it would smell to live there
Om Mani Padme Hum

An entire town based on complete freedom for Marijuana usage and growing, might seem like a great idea, until you realize how fucking awful it would smell to live there.
Eh, as long as you don't share an apartment or car, it's not a biggie.  Besides, cigarette smokers don't exactly smell like roses, either.

It would smell hot!  We are talking Death Valley/Needles here.  Hot--I mean one year I was driving through Needles--or trying to--and before I got through town my car melted!  Absolute Truth!!
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent,
Is he able but not willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able or willing?
Then why call him god?

Needles is Route 66 over the Colorado River into California from Arizona.  The Joad family (Grapes of Wrath) crossed the bridge there.  I crossed the same bridge in 1962 moving to California for the same reason (parent's economic opportunity).

Several years ago, we traveled to Missouri by car and followed Route 66 as much as we could.  It was fun.

Needles temps in the near future: 110, 112,112,114,116,112,................and on and on.  Not my kind of place.

For all of you people who have played Fallout:New Vegas, I just saw that Primm is an actual place.  It is on Hwy 15, which is the hwy from LA to Vegas; it's on the CA/NV border and has the 1st Casino (Primm Casino)--or last, depending upon which way you are driving--near the border.  I've been there a few times, but it just did not register until just now.  And Nipton is a few miles south along the border as well.  My fav companion, Eddy, is from Primm.  :))

I may have played the nickel slots there as a child.  They didn't mind.

If you lived downwind from a marijuana bakery, would you get high sitting on the deck.  If so, can a buy the property?  And what happens if they have to burn an excess supply.  Do they charge for being nearby?

WHY do these things happen far away from me?
It's just a matter of time till pot stores hit Main St USA.  Then our dark work begins.

With property, it's location, location, location.  But if you've got the dough, you can buy anything.  Next to a marijuana factory, there is usually a premium.  It's called the "high" price.

What surrounding community??  Look this up on the map--I think isolated would be an apt word to use for it.
They're trying to get the graboids hooked on pot.
We 'new atheists' have a reputation for being militant, but make no mistake  we didn't start this war. If you want to place blame put it on the the religious zealots who have been poisoning the minds of the  young for a long long time."
